I'm over”

01

I'm over ≠ 我完蛋了

The game was over by 5 o'clock.

I'm over”!

I'm over sb =

I'm just calling to say that… I am over you.

I'm screwed.

If we don't get this finished on time, we're screwed.

I'm dead.

You're dead!

A: I forgot my girlfriend's birthday. I didn't get any gifts.

B: You're dead!

I'm dead.

used to indicate that one thinks something is extremely funny (so much so that they've died laughing).

A:When I went out of the bathroom I found out it was for women.

B:I'm dead. Hahaha.

I'm toast.

If someone tells you that you are toast, you are in a lot of trouble. If someone is toast, you mean that they are certain to be defeated or destroyed.

所以someone is toast.

If I don't agree to do what they ask, I'm toast.

I'm doomed.

例:

I can't finish that difficult project. I'm doomed.

I'm stressed out.

stress sb.out “使某人压力大;使某人极度焦虑”

be stressed out “压力大;非常紧张”

例:

I was really stressed out before finals.

I am under a lot of pressure.

under a lot of pressure “压力很大”

例:

My parents insist that I should get married before 30, so I'm under a lot of pressure.
